Unboxing and Initial Setup
What’s in the Box
When you open your sense band package, you should find:
Essential Components
- Sense band device - The main wearable device with integrated sensors
- Charging cable - USB cable for charging the device
- Quick start guide - The quick start guide is printed as a QR code on the side of the box
Initial Setup Process
Step 1: First-Time Charging
- Connect the charging cable to your sense band
- Plug into power source - Use a USB charger or computer USB port
- Observe LED indicators - You should see four red LEDs rotating clockwise
- Wait for full charge - LEDs will remain continuously on when fully charged
Step 2: Power On and Initial Activation
- Device turns on automatically when connected to power
- LED pattern confirmation - Four clockwise rotating red LEDs indicate charging
Step 3: Prepare for Pairing
- Download the Sense app from your device’s app store
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone
- Keep the band connected to the charger during initial setup
- Have your login credentials ready for the Sense app
- Follow the pairing instructions onscreen or following our documentation
Initial LED Patterns
During First Charge
- Four red LEDs rotating clockwise - Normal charging in progress
- LEDs remain continuously on - Charging complete, ready for setup
- No LED activity - Check cable connection and power source
Before First Pairing
- Keep device connected to charger during initial pairing
- LEDs should be steady (not rotating) when fully charged
- If LEDs are rotating - Continue charging until they become steady
First-Time Pairing
Prerequisites
- Sense app installed - Download from App Store or Google Play
- Bluetooth enabled - Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is on
- Stable internet connection - Required for app setup
Pairing Process
- Open the Sense app on your smartphone
- Follow the app’s pairing instructions - The app will guide you through setup
- Keep the band connected to the charger during pairing
- Complete the setup process as directed by the app
Troubleshooting Initial Setup
Device Won’t Turn On
- Check cable connection - Ensure charging cable is properly connected
- Try different power source - Use a different USB charger or computer
- Check cable condition - Look for damage to the charging cable
- Contact support - If device still won’t power on
LEDs Not Showing Expected Pattern
Refer to LED Guide for the pattern meanings on the reverse of your sense band.
After Successful Setup
First Use
- Disconnect from charger - Only after successful pairing
- Wear the device - Follow wearing instructions
- Check app connection - Verify data is syncing in the app
- Start tracking - Your device is ready to track activity and sleep

Important Notes
Initial Charge Requirements
