Factory Reset

Before You Begin

Before performing a factory reset, please ensure you have:

  • Your sense band
  • Your sense band charging cable
  • Access to your mobile device (Android or iOS)
  • A pin, small screwdriver or SIM card removal tool.
  • The sense app installed on your device

Removing from Bluetooth Devices

Android Devices

  1. Open your Android device’s Settings
  2. Navigate to “Connected devices” or “Bluetooth”
  3. Find “Polar 360” in your list of paired devices
  4. Tap the gear icon or settings next to the device
  5. Select “Forget”
  6. Confirm the action when prompted

iOS Devices

  1. Open your iPhone’s Settings
  2. Tap on “Bluetooth”
  3. Find “Polar 360” in your list of paired devices
  4. Tap the (i) icon next to the device
  5. Select “Forget This Device”
  6. Confirm the action when prompted

Close the Sense App

Android Devices

  1. Open your Android device’s Settings
  2. Navigate to “Apps” or “Applications”
  3. Find and tap on “Sense”
  4. Tap “Force Stop”
  5. Confirm the action when prompted

iOS Devices

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-click the home button on older devices)
  2. Find the Sense app in the app switcher
  3. Swipe up on the Sense app card to close it
  4. Alternatively, you can also:
    • Open Settings
    • Scroll down to find “Sense”
    • Tap “Background App Refresh”
    • Toggle it off temporarily

Removing from Bluetooth Devices

Android Devices

  1. Open your Android device’s Settings
  2. Navigate to “Connected devices” or “Bluetooth”
  3. Find “Polar 360” in your list of paired devices
  4. Tap the gear icon or settings next to the device
  5. Select “Forget” or “Unpair”
  6. Confirm the action when prompted

iOS Devices

  1. Open your iPhone’s Settings
  2. Tap on “Bluetooth”
  3. Find “Polar 360” in your list of paired devices
  4. Tap the (i) icon next to the device
  5. Select “Forget This Device”
  6. Confirm the action when prompted

Performing the Factory Reset

  1. Ensure your sense band band is powered on
  2. Press and hold the factory reset button underneath the band for 10 seconds with the USB charging cable connected.

  1. Once the factory reset button is released, the LEDs will turn off.
  2. The band will restart automatically and should display LEDs moving quickly in a clockwise direction.

After Reset

After the factory reset:

  • The band will be ready for a new pairing
  • All previous settings and data will be cleared
  • You’ll need to pair the band again with your device
  • Follow the initial setup process in the Sense app

Troubleshooting

If you experience any issues during the reset process:

  • Ensure the band has sufficient battery power
  • Try the reset process again if the first attempt fails
  • If problems persist, contact Sense support for assistance
