Identifying your Sense Band

Your Sense band’s unique identifier is located underneath the top strap of the band. This information may be needed for troubleshooting or if you’ve received the wrong band in error.

Before You Begin

If you have received the wrong band in error, or we need to troubleshoot your Sense band, we may ask you for your Device ID.

How to access the device ID

Step 1: Remove the band

  1. Carefully remove your Sense band from your wrist
  2. Place it on a clean, flat surface

Step 2: Lift the top strap

  1. Locate the top strap (the strap that faces away from your wrist when wearing)
  2. Gently lift the strap away from the band body
  3. The ID is printed underneath the strap, next to ID:. The Device ID is E49EBD2B in the picture below.

Step 3: Locate the information

The ID will be displayed in one of these formats:

  • ID: XXXXXXXX (where X represents letters and numbers)

What the device ID Looks Like

The address is typically:

  • 8 characters long (letters and numbers). In the picture above, the device ID is E49EBD2B

When you might need this information

  • Troubleshooting: If your band isn’t connecting properly
  • Wrong Device: If you received the wrong band in your order
  • Support Requests: When contacting Sense support for technical issues

Important Notes

  • The address is unique to each device
  • Keep this information safe but don’t share it publicly
  • You may need to take a photo of the address for support purposes
  • The strap can be gently lifted without damaging the band
